The Mighty Flow of the Zambezi River
The Zambezi River is the fourth largest river in Africa, coming after the Nile, Zaire, and Niger rivers as regards size. It is 3,540 KM long and traces a route from northwest Zambia through Angola, runs along the borders of Namibia and Botswana, reenters Zambia, then makes its way through Zimbabwe and Mozambique to finally empty into the India Ocean. This river is the site of numerous leisure time and tourist activities and is also used for power generation.
