World Matchplay Darts: Defending Champion Phil Taylor Is Firm Favourite

Phil Taylor is all set to defend his World Matchplay title on July 18, the third day of the nine-day competition. In his opening round, the defending champion from Stoke-on Trent will face debutant Mark Hyton. The tournament will also have world champion Adrian Lewis in the fray. The first round will witness Lewis in action against Kevin Painter, with Gary Anderson taking on Andy Hamilton, in another opening round encounter.
