My sister's wedding shower is coming up and it is partially potluck, so I have it in mind to make these:
however I'm worried that the dampness of the fruit will make the cone soggy before they get a chance to be served. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent sogging. I'm most likely only going to be cutting open the cantelope for the cones the rest will be intact, and the cantelope will be added JUST before people arrive, but I'm worried that the cold fruit will still do a number on the cones.
Any suggestions as to how to prepare this?
